Québec

Québec's curriculum is the Québec Education Program (Programme de formation de l'école québécoise), set by the Ministère de l'Éducation, with Progression of Learning documents giving the knowledge for each subject; most children study in French, and English schools teach the same program in English. School runs from preschool through six elementary grades (in three two-year cycles) and five secondary years (Secondary I to V), followed by CEGEP. Secondary IV and V courses earn credits toward the Secondary School Diploma (DES), with ministry exams in key subjects.
